Happy 1st Birthday Megan!

I can't believe Megan is already one. Time has really flown by this year. She still seems so much like a baby to me and I am glad. She has just one tooth and stands, but hasn't taken steps alone yet. I thought she might on her birthday because she was being really brave standing a lot, but she wasn't quite ready. She gives the sweetest hugs and laughs at everything especially when she offers you her pacifier and you say, "no thank you". She thinks that is the funniest joke.

Now as for the party...we had so much fun with 6 one year olds, 2 three year olds, and 1 just ten days old. The day was a little cool and cloudy, but we still managed to have our wagon rides which is one of Megan's favorite things to do since she was just 4 months old. She had a great time with all her "friends" at her house. She took the longest nap that afternoon. Thanks to everyone for sharing her 1st birthday. We couldn't ask for better friends and family for our daughter to grow up with.

Megan did not like everyone singing Happy Birthday to her. She was too tired by then, so we ended up doing her little cake later.
