We had a blast at the beach this year. We went with 6 other families, so the kids had lots of playmates. The fluffy white sand and crystal clear water was just what I imagine a vacation should be. One of our favorite memories from the trip is an evening we spent after dinner on the beach at sunset...Luke and Scott were running around at the shoreline and Megan and I were sitting on a blanket in the sand. It was so perfect and peaceful. Of course the 4th of July was an evening of fireworks that we could see from our beach house and a great meal of fried fish that the guys had caught earlier that day. Thanks to Nick and Shane for all the good food they cooked.
